1.1. Minimum Age Limit: Users must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age applicable in Your country of residence) to use this Service in accordance with Discord global rules and COPPA (Children's Online Privacy Protection Act).
1.2. Underage Users: If You are between 13 and 18 years old, You declare that You have obtained permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian to use this Service.
1.3. Paid Purchases: Any form of financial transactions (purchasing Premium or VIP packages) must be conducted by an individual who is at least 18 years old or has full legal capacity to use valid payment methods.
***2.1. Pure Fiction Service: Verlexy Bot is an AI-powered fiction platform for entertainment, creative writing, and roleplay purposes. All characters, dialogues, responses, and actions generated by the AI are pure fiction, results of algorithmic calculations, and not real.
2.2. Not Human: Users fully understand that the AI does not possess consciousness, emotions, feelings, or human empathy. Excessive emotional attachment to the AI is strongly discouraged.
2.3. Mental Health Disclaimer: This Service is not a place for counseling, therapy, or a replacement for professional mental health services.
2.4. Emergency/Crisis Policy: If You are experiencing severe depression, having thoughts of self-harm, or are in a mental crisis, You agree to immediately seek professional help in the real world. We install system filters to detect crisis keywords and will redirect interaction to official emergency helpline numbers for Your safety. We are not responsible for any psychological effects arising from interaction with the AI.
***3.1. Strict SFW Commitment: Verlexy Bot is committed to becoming a safe and friendly platform. Any form of content creation, prompt, or simulation containing NSFW (Not Safe For Work), pornography, explicit sexual activity, sexual violence, and severe physical fetish is strictly prohibited.
3.2. Prohibited Content Ban: Users are prohibited from misusing the AI to generate:
Content that encourages self-harm or suicide.
Hate speech, SARA (race/religion/ethnicity/inter-group), harassment, or bullying.
Instructions for weapon making, illegal substances, or real-world criminal activities.
3.3. Moderation & Ban Rights: Developers and Staff (Guild Officers) reserve full rights to delete text threads, cancel novel publications, confiscate coins, up to permanently blocking User accounts if proven to violate this SFW policy without any obligation for a refund.
***4.1. Fan-Fiction Works: Verlexy Bot provides a feature where Users can roleplay using existing third-party fiction franchise backgrounds. The Developer emphasizes that all Copyrights, trademarks, and intellectual property ownership of those characters/backgrounds belong fully to their respective owner companies. Verlexy is a UGC (User-Generated Content) platform for non-commercial fan works.
4.2. User Content License (UGC): When You create an original world (Custom World) or publish a story in our Novel Forum, You retain copyright over Your original concept. However, You grant a global, free, and royalty-free license to Verlexy Bot to process, display, index, and share the text within our platform so that it can be enjoyed by other Users.
4.3. Lineage & Royalty System (Anti-Plagiarism): To protect Creators' works:
Every template duplicated/remixed by others will automatically have its code locked by our system (Sanad System).
The bot will automatically enforce attribution to the original Creator on every copied novel published.
Virtual coin sharing (royalty) from readers of copied novels will automatically be split fairly by the bot system to the original Creator's wallet.
4.4. Takedown Policy Procedure: If You are the legitimate copyright owner of a work and object to fan work content in our Forum, please report it to our official support channel (#support). We will verify and remove the content from the public forum within a maximum of 168 hours(except for national holidays (Saturday and Sunday) there may be delays or longer).
5.1. Auto-Cleanup System: To maintain VPS server efficiency and prevent data accumulation, we implement a periodic cleanup policy:
Free Users (Free/Creator): Adventure threads inactive for 3 days (72 hours) will automatically be deleted permanently from the server.
Paid Users (Premium/VIP): Adventure threads inactive for 7 days (168 hours) will automatically be deleted permanently from the server.
5.2. JSON Data Insurance: Before a thread is automatically deleted, the bot will send a backup file (.json) to the User's DM (or to the #📬丨MASSAGE channel if DM is closed). Users can resume the game anytime by importing the file via the /import-story command.
5.3. HMAC Encryption & Anti-Cheat: All exported .json files are protected by digital key encryption HMAC-SHA256. Users are strictly forbidden from modifying, reverse engineering, editing text, or hacking the contents of the .json file. Any data manipulation detected by the automated system will result in file rejection (SECURITY ALERT) and may lead to account suspension.
***6.1. Google Account Security: In the BYOK feature, Users independently register their own Gemini API Key via the /set-my-key command.
6.2. Zero Password Collection: We never and are strictly forbidden from asking for Google passwords, personal emails, or sensitive credentials of Users. If any party claiming to be Verlexy Bot asks for Your password, report them immediately.
6.3. Quota Responsibility: Use of a personal API Key is subject to the quota limits and ToS of each User's Google AI Studio. The Developer is not responsible for any rate limits or Google account bans experienced by the User as a result of using their personal API Key.
***7.1. Payment Gateway: All Premium or VIP subscription transactions are conducted securely via official third-party platforms (Ko-fi / PayPal / Stripe).
7.2. No Refund Policy: Given that Verlexy Bot is an instant digital service (SaaS), all successfully processed payments are final and non-refundable, unless required by applicable local law.
7.3. Coin Economy (Lexsi Coin): Lexsi Coin is the virtual currency inside the Verlexy Bot game obtained through creativity "weekly salary" or event rewards.
Lexsi Coin has no real-world monetary value.
Lexsi Coin cannot be cashed out, illegally transferred between users, or traded for real money.
Developers reserve the right to reset coin balances if any coin bug exploitation or spammer bot/alt account usage (Farming) is detected.
7.4. Shop Rental "No-Stacking" Rule: Exchanging coins for Premium/VIP roles in the Game Shop is capped at a maximum duration of 8 days and cannot be stacked (No Stacking) before the previous rental period completely expires.
***8.1. "As Is" Service: This Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
8.2. Limitation of Loss: The Developer is not liable for financial losses, loss of adventure data, device damage, Google API connection failures, server maintenance, or any intangible losses suffered by Users while using this Service.
***These Terms of Service are governed by, construed in accordance with, and subject to the laws of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Services shall be resolved amicably and by mutual agreement through consultation via our official mediation channel before pursuing any other course of action.
***We reserve the right to change, modify, or update these Terms of Service at any time to adapt to technological advancements and applicable laws. Any major changes will be announced via the official Verlexy Discord server. Your continued use of the Service after such updates constitutes Your acceptance of the new terms.
